   Everything made sense to me until the giant cow-hide ‘rug’. I wasn’t offended, it just doesn’t make sense.

   Maybe it’s because they really don’t want people to be in that room. So instead of an actual rug, they purchased a cow hide so that the room is very off-putting to guests?
