Jake took this photo of our street the last time it snowed…and from the looks of it outside the street will look the same after today. It’s snowing again!
I am ready for spring. I am really ready for spring.
I am ready for green grass, leaves on trees, flowers in bloom.
I am ready for our backyard again.
I am ready to feel the warmth of the sun on my face.
I am ready to say good-bye to winter.

Spring is -a-l-m-o-s-t- here but in the mean while our backyard is muddy. Judy stays outside most of the day and the ONLY way we let her inside is to give her a bath. She has had more baths in the last few weeks than she has had in her whole life! We have a pretty solid routine worked out by now – however, the first time we tried to get Judy in the tub she ran all over the house full of mud (as you can imagine I was totally freaking out)! So now Jake carries her…she is starting to get used to it.
And just for fun – here is the new game we play with Judy that we like to call “break!” As you can tell she has a hard time containing her excitement – she LOVES LOVES LOVES to run!

Jake and I signed up for GreenDimes last week. We did the $36 plan and have already received the GreenDimes t-shirt, two compact florescent light bulbs, reusable grocery bag, and children’s Earth Day book in the mail – totally worth a onetime $36. Oh yeah AND they planted 10 trees for us! Check it out!
