Just watching the sunset over the mountains in Bend, Oregon after a hike up Pilot Butte.

This is Emily, my friend from college, at Mt. Bachelor in Oregon.

Emily has been skiing a handful of times and has the best sense of humor.

It was not strange for me to see her face plant three times, get stuck in powder twice, and actually do a complete somersault once!

I took this photo while waiting to cross a street in downtown Portland, Oregon.

Which is not something I do everyday.

This whole time waiting to get home…

My luggage was securely waiting for me back in Portland.

Never left Oregon, not even once; not to come to Denver and definitely not to come to Iowa.

At least I don’t have to unpack.
